Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all !! Today I am really happy with my post on craftsneedindia.blogspot.in . This is one of my favorite project.All details regarding clay sculptures are on the Craftsneed blog.Here i will tell more about my card i made along with the sculptures.Below is the picture of my full project

Instructions:
On the white card stock ,I stuck corrugated brown paper and have put snowflake paste and diamond dust on top of it.I have colored the Digi stamp with Zig colors,fussy cut it and distressed from edges.Then took a Christmas tree Die cut and pasted on the corrugated.I have separately stamped the sentiment,distressed the edges and stuck on the base.

Supplies used:

Cardstock -- White,Red
Corrugated paper
Ranger's Snowflake paste
Spellbinders Christmas die
Pennyblack sentiment
Twinklets Diamond dust
Zig water color marker pens
Clear glue
Double sided tape

Let it snow,let it snow...

Hello everyone,

I was away from my blog for quiet sometime now or precisely one full month...Yes I have taken up new responsibilities and that's what kept me busy all this while...Firstly i want to thank u all who have supported me and my crafts and kept the blog going,Secondly i want to share my happiness as i have joined two blogs recently,One is craftsneedindia where I have joined as DT member and Blog coordinator and other one is giveacrafteracookie as DT member.

Now a quick post,This card is my first DT card for If you give crafter a cookie blog challenge#58


My inspiration for this card is picture below:


Material used:
White card stock, Silver glitter card stock, Distress ink Fired brick, Digi stamp from Beccy's place, Snowflakes Elizabeth dies, Sentiment stamp from Penny black All is Bright,Multi medium matte, Silver mica flakes, Zig clean colors brush markers,Black archival ink,Double sided tape and Tacky glue.

Instructions:
I took out a print of my digi stamp and fussy cut it after coloring with zigs. Distressed the main base only from borders and stamped sentiment with black archival ink.Stuck the snowman with double sided tape and simply glued the snowflakes with tacky glue.Spread multi medium matte on the bottom and sprinkled the mica flakes and hurray my card is done for today.I simply love these kinds CAS cards. I loved adding that silver shine to it as for me silver is just perfect for Christmas. Hope u liked it too.

Thinking of you


Hi all,Today I have made a simple water colored card.These stamps I received as my prize from Lulupu blog for winning September challenge..I simply loved them for their awesome quality and crisp images.Sharing the picture of the card below with instructions and supplies


Supplies Used:
1.Clear stamps from MICIA
2.Archival ink jet black
3.Zig water color marker pens
4.White cardstock

Instructions:
I stamped both images by placing them on acrylic block together with archival ink.Then i started with my water coloring with Zig pens. And yes 10 minutes and its done...this is one of simple and quick cards.

Happy Diwali !!

Diwali is just few days away,Today I am sharing a simple Diwali card.Hope u all enjoy it.


List of supplies:
White card stock,Spellbinders Timeless rectangles dies,Joy craft floral flourishes die,Tim holtz distress ink peacock feathers,Viva inka gold,Peek a boo Diwali sentiment stamp, Rangers gold embossing powder,Enamel dots,glittery leaves and organza ribbon


Instructions:
I took a base card stock and distressed it a little.Then attached the die cuts to the base with the help of double sided tape.Flowers are handmade for which i have taken die cuts and dabbed them with Inka gold color,once the color dried petal shaping has been done with the help of ball tool and molding mat.Before attaching the flower I have done dry embossing with Diwali sentiment .Now lastly attached the ribbon and leaves,on top of those attached the flower with the help of glue.

I Love....layout!!

Hi all,

September is ending and soon we all will jump in October with festivals, their preparations,school vacation and lot of meeting up with frens,families and relatives.But before all that busy schedule starts,I wanted to say small thanks to my all time mentor and biggest supporter, that person who made me realize my potentials..i would have dreamt crafts all my life,he is the one who made it reality for me..he is none other than my husband. Thanks Abhinav for giving me such a beautiful life,i feel so blessed to live my dreams.

Each day either i create something or teaching my students creating beautiful crafty projects. Abhinav keep asking when will I make something for him.So this one for u....my inspiration is from Lulupu blog mood board. The moment i saw the mood board,i was super excited...everything in the board was so pretty and inspirational. Here is my interpretation of the board....my layout

Products Used
White cardstock,Gold and white embossing powder, Dienamics cycle die, The crafters workshop stencil Be in love, Lindy sprays flat pabeo Raspberry lemonade and Orange creamsickle, Spellbinders Timeless rectangles die, AveryElle I love you sentiment,Handmade flowers done using Botanical wings and Sun kissed fleur die from Heartfelt Creations,heart stamp and clip from my stash,enamel dots,Beehive chipboard, watercolors,Metal embellishment,Black archival ink for stamping,pattern paper and Vintage photo distress ink.

Instructions:  
I have distressed the white 12*12 card stock and given it rough torn look.After that I did partial stencil work with white embossing powder and partial with gold one. After heat set have sprayed lindys sprays.The feathers are hand cut and heat embossed.Flowers are also handmade with dies from Heartfelt Creations. Balloons are hand drawn and painted.
 After everything is ready I have attached all to the layout with the help of clear glue..The photo is detachable with the help of wooden clip.

Baby shower shaker card



Hi everyone,
Few days back i posted a shaker card,one of my acquaintances liked it so much that they wanted me to recreate a shaker card  but this time theme is baby shower...So today i made one,picture attached below.I will also be sharing instructions on how to make one and list of supplies used.

P.S: This card makes me feel so good and proud ,i have used  MADE In INDIA  dies,stamps and even the patterned paper.Read more to check these Awesome Indian brands.So lets start....




Instructions
I have taken a grey cardstock as my base card. The pattern paper is from Papericious Pattern collection . The round die cuts are done on golden cardstock and the die is from Peek A Boo Designs.
The stamped images are from stamp set from Peek a boo again which have been heat embossed with gold embossing powder. on white cardstock .Attached a golden ribbon to add little more of shine along with the gold cardstock and gold sequins used in the card.Have attached transparent sheet with glossy accents in between the die cuts to create the shaker effect.

SMILE...alwayzzz!!!

Hello everyone,

Amidst all bandhs,curfews,fear,panic,confusions in Bangalore ,everything topped with more of rumors and less of real conditions, only thing i can think right now is one very special word "SMILE". I am part of Bangalore for last 10 ten years,today with this post I only want everyone to spread love,happiness and YES most importantly smiles all over...We all belong to one mother EARTH, lets not fight anymore.

I want to spread this message with this card i have made.Below I am also adding the instructions along with the supplies used for this card.

Instructions :
I took white card stock and placed Victorian arch die in the half circle and passed it through the Big shot machine.Again i placed the same die now in the rest of the semi circle and passed it through Big shot.Now I have a full Die cut circle.For base card i have taken Pink color metallic card stock. 

For flower,I stamped the Heartfelt stamp on the white card stock with Archival ink Jet black and then hand painted them with my Zig colors.After that took the die cut of the flower and the leaves.I have done some shaping of the flower on the molding mat with a ball tool and arranged the flower with the help of Tacky glue.In the middle of the flower have sprinkled some micro beads with the help of clear adhesive.Attaching a closer look.


Arranged everything on the card as shown in the pic and attached SMILE sentiment which is a beautiful die cut on pink organza ribbon.

Friendship shaker card

Here I am again, this time my most favorite card type...A SHAKER CARD...have made many before also, its always fun to make them, delight for the receiver and lot of appreciation along. This card i have made especially for my best friend Shikha Gupta. Was not able to wish her very properly on friendship day as was busy with some medical issues...but its never too late...This one for u shikha,I know i might fall short of words but thanks for being there always for me...


Below is the list of supplies and instructions along.

Supplies used
1. White ,Yellow and Green cardstock
2. Transparent sheet
3. Penny black Happy days stamp set
4. Penny black special wishes stamp set
5. Zig clean color brush markers
6. Spellbinders celebration die set
7. Distress ink
8. Craftmedley cup sequins Baby
9. Vellum sheet
10. Heartfelt sunkissed fluer stamp and die set
11.Glossy accents and double sided tape
12. Black archival ink

Instructions

I started by taking white card stock and stamped image and sentiment with black archival ink.Colored the image with zig colors and fussy cut it.Have done fussy cut to sentiment as well. Then took a die cut from spellbinders celebration set on white card stock , attached transparent sheet to it with help of glossy accents and attached double sided tape to the border of it.

Made a light marking of this die cut and painted with help of distress inks and water. Have hand cut the grass on green card stock and attached to the water colored potion bottom. I have stamped some flowers on vellum sheet and yellow card stock with heartfelt set.Attached them on the grass,filled the inner lining with cup sequins and covered it with transparent cover made earlier.

Top right attached sentiment and bottom left attached image with glossy accents.This completes my card for today.Hope u also have liked it.

Bonds of LOVE

Rakshabandhan is around the corner,my elder daughter wanted me to make something special for her younger sis...made this beautiful CAS card. My elder one is super happy with the outcome.Hope u all will also like it.


Sharing below the supplies with instructions.

Supplies used

1.White cardstock
2. Distress ink mermaid lagoon
3. Candibean Friends Together stamp
4. Zig clean colors markers
5. Stampendous shaved ice
6. Penny Black petal party stamp set for sentiment
7. Double sided tape

Instructions

I started with stamping the image on white cardstock , then colored it with zig pens and did fussy cutting to it .Took another white cardstock and distressed it with mermaid lagoon shade,used glue to attach shaved ice to the base. Now i stamped the sentiment again on a separate white cardstock and did fussy cutting to this one as well. Then used double sided tape to attach the image to the distressed sheet,also attached distressed sheet to main base sheet with double sided tape only. Pasted the penny black sentiment with normal pva glue.Lastly added a handwritten sentiment to make the card more sensible and suit the purpose.

Time to celebrate

Hi Friends,

Feeling so happy to be back to my blog with a new post filled with lot of vibrant colors. Sry was away for sometime due to medical issues. But yes now back and will post more very often.

Today's card i have tried keeping clean and simple.Just played with few colors. I have done this card on watercolor cardstock. I started with filling colors in the middle using my zig color pens,used some water to mix them a little with each other.Then i distressed another cardstock sheet with same color chart.Out of half of that distressed sheet i took out diecuts,half i used for making a back panel for the color.Have attached the diecuts with double sided tape and glued the rest half sheet on the back sheet of card after cutting it with designer scissors ( this one i borrowed from my daughter ). Then i stamped my sentiment with neon ink. My card is ready for today...just loving the colors ,happy to see the outcome. This card i have made for my daughters best friend, a 6 year old sweet girl,whose birthday is in next two days. My daughter wanted to gift a handmade card along so i told her lets make one!!! Below i am giving the list of supplies used.

My love Flowers

Hi Everybody,

 I am very excited with my today's post. This card i made two days back but honestly dreaming to make this for long. This card shows my real love :cards, flowers, watercoloring and textures. Hope u all will like it.

1. White,Red and Green cardstock
2. Spellbinders Victorian arch die

Instructions: 
I first took white base cardstock and distressed the borders lightly. After that i took red cardstock and used damask stencil with embossing paste on it and set it dry. Stamped zinnia flowers twice separately on white cardstock with archival ink and colored them with zig real brushes,after that fussy cut them, Took out a victorian arch diecut on white cardstock separately again. Took out some leaves diecuts on green cardstock and Love diecut on red cardstock. I have handcut the square frame popping out a little on white cardstock.

After all this I started putting them together,attached red embossed sheet first,joining victorian arch next. Then attached flowers with double sided tape, attaching the leaves later with glue. Glued the love die and then placed the white frame last with glue.

Happy Birthday


Wonderful day to all and Happy Birthday To my friend NEHA,

Today's post is a simple and elegant happy birthday card , This one is filled with the colors of rainbow. Have a look at this beautiful card,below that i have mentioned the supplies i have used followed by the instructions.



Supplies used:

1) White cardstock
2) Alphabet dies
3) Birthday stamp from Bo Bunny
4) Butterfly stamp from Inkadinkado
5) Distress inks
6) Wink of stella silver glitter pen
7) Black archival ink
8) Purple pigment ink
9) Double sided dots
10) Masking tape

Instructions:

I took white base card and masked it with tape from all sides creating a rectangular box. After that started distressing from the left with first color of the rainbow VIOLET ,then followed by indigo,blue,green,yellow,orange and red. Then i removed the masking tape. Ends of both left and right have distressed with red color.I took another white cardstock with little smaller size than the main base card. I placed the alphabet dies and passed through my big shot. Then stamped birthday sentiment on the right corner with black archival ink  and butterfly stamp on right most top with purple pigment ink. Then i used double sided dots to give a lift to my cardstock with die cut. On the HAPPY portions ,rubbed a little wink of stella silver glitter brush.

Beautiful Mornings

Good morning friends,

I am here again with my new post,this time mixed media work on a notebook. I thoroughly enjoyed the making,the out come was beautiful. Have tried working both on front and back. This one will always be very close to my heart as all color selection is done by my daughter myra. Sharing the pictures below followed by supplies and instructions.





Supplies Used:

1) A hardcover notebook
2) Art basics modelling paste
3) Distress inks
4) Heidi swapp honeycomb stencil
5) Butterfly diecut from elizabeth crafts
6) Cycle diecut from dienamics
7) Pollens for flowers
8) Penny black heartfelt sentiment
9) Embellishment pearl stickons

Instructions:

I started with putting a layer of modelling paste on both front and back cover of the notebook.Once that layer dried,gave one more layer with honeycomb stencil on selected areas.
After that dried,started using different shades of distress inks colors being red,yellow,purple,pink,blue and green.Took a diecut of cycle and butterfly on a purple color cardstock. Then i started making flowers,the petals are handcut,distressed and put together with pollens to finish making the flower. also took out a butterfly diecut on vellum sheet for back cover. After all this started arranging them on the front cover first,once finished with cycle,flowers and butterfly sticking,I stamped the sentiment with black archival ink. attached the stick ons my front cover is done.

Then i started with back cover,my honeycomb stencil effect has come out nice on the back as well,Again distressed the portions,stamped the sentiment and stuck the pretty vellum butterfly.The stamped flowers are also from the same stamp set. Have put little white modelling paste on the top and back vertically for touchups.

Love to you card

Hi all,

I am excited...yessss...after long wait,today finally i am writing my first blog post. In my last 8 years of crafting,I was crafting day in day out but never imagined putting my creativity in form of write ups. Hope u all will enjoy my blog.

On this blog i want to share my love rather i would say my madness for card-making,inks,stamps and dies.This is my very first card with minimal supplies which i did exactly one year back in  July 2015.

Supplies:
1. Brown card stock as base card
2. Smooth white cardstock for the sentiment
3. Spellbinders nestabilities die
4. background die cut on green sheet
5. Vellum sheet
6. Ribbons,pearls and laces
7.Wow embossing powder white



 


To start with i took a white die cut and stamped the sentiment from penny black heartfelt sentiments stamps set.took a butterfly die cut on vellum sheet and heat embossed flourishes with white embossing powder.Attached everything layer by layer using glue and double sided tapes.

Hope u have enjoyed the easy making .This card is very close to my heart as it was my first attempt.
